Yes, you can actually.

I believe there is a bug in the probe that causes this behaviour. I don't think it is server-side. If you have the time, you could add some logging to the probe to see what's being sent out to the server.

If you open the probe you'll find the source code included. The source code is also available from Google Code's Java-monitor-probes project (http://code.google.com/p/java-monitor-probes/source/browse/#svn/trunk/probe-1.5/WEB-INF/classes/com/javamonitor).

Dear holeinone,

There is an even simpler way for you to help. Could you please use a TCP sniffer to snif the HTTP traffic between the probe and my collector server? I'd love to see what passes over the wire.
