Dear All,
Java-monitor now sends e-mail alerts if it notices that a probe has not sent any data for a few minutes. Some of you may have received a few such e-mails already, as Java-monitor's latest release was settling in.
You can change the time-out on your host if you navigate to the individual host details. There are some radio buttons that allow you to configure when Java-monitor should send an e-mail. The default value is 2 minutes.
In this release I also added OS and application server icons for those that Java-monitor recognizes. I hope this makes it easier for you to determine what is running where.
