Hi,
I'm sure we all have a few pet books that we keep around and enjoy to use.
Please use this thread to post a few suggestions.
Think of this as a way to stay out of programmatic problems :)
I'll get started with two big gems
Effective Java Second Edition
Josh Bloch designed, implemented, and maintained many of the Java platform libraries. Here he shares 57 "nuggets"--rules and code examples showing what works, what doesn't, and how to use the language and its libraries to best effect.
Accessible by anyone who knows the language, but food for thought even for advanced programmers.
