Dear All,
I plan to release the new, on-line monitoring tool for Java applications this Thursday.
This initial release of the monitoring tool must be considered a beta release. It is far from feature-complete. That said, I did my very best to make this high quality software. It should Just Work(tm) and not generate any stack traces or hamper your application server in any way.
On-line monitoring is available for a limited number of participants. If you are interested to try out the new software, please reply to this thread and let me know. Once the beta is a success, I'll open up the monitoring to a wider audience.
UPDATE: The beta is open to everyone, up until the point that my servers are overloaded. So no need to post, you can get started immediately.
Using the software is dead-easy. It is completely integrated in the forum, so you won't have to deal with special accounts or anything.
As part of the release, the web site and forum will be down for a few hours. Apart from setting up the first release of the monitoring tool I will be upgrading various pieces of the infrastructure and setting up replication for the databases.
Kees Jan
PS. Remember: please reply if you want to participate.
